2. Instructions:

   Please call the DPW 30 minutes after submitting this form to make your appointment. 781-270-1670 during business hours.

4. Booking your Appointment:

   Due to a high volume of sales and closings, and limited departmental staffing, a minimum of 10 business days’ written notice is required to schedule a final water meter inspection and reading. Three (3) weeks’ notice is strongly preferred to avoid delays.

6. Availability:

   Final water bills are issued once weekly on Thursdays, after the inspection has been completed.

   • If the inspection is completed Monday through Wednesday, the final bill may be issued that same Thursday.
   • If the inspection is completed Thursday or Friday, the final bill will be issued the following Thursday.

   To prevent delays in your sale or closing, please submit your final water inspection request as early as possible.

8. Rules and Regulations:

   Any inspection or reading needed sooner than 10 business days may be subject to a fee as stated in the DPW Rules and Regulations.
