  • Stormwater Bylaw / Erosion and Sedimentation Control Bylaw (PDF)The Stormwater Bylaw was adopted in 2006 for the purpose of protecting surface and groundwater and to prevent contamination of drinking water supplies, impairment of water quality in wetlands, alteration of wildlife habitat, flooding, erosion of stream channels, and overloading of the municipal storm drain system.

    In 2012, the Town of Burlington Conservation Commission updated Burlington Bylaw Article XIV Section 1.0, also known as the Wetlands Bylaw. Town Meeting approved the updated bylaw on May 20, 2013.
