Brendan Egan
Parks & Recreation Director

Brendan has been working in municipal recreation for the past 28 years. He grew up in Wallingford, CT working for his local recreation department before attending Franklin Pierce University where he earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Recreation Management. Brendan previously served as the Recreation Supervisor for the Burlington Recreation Department from 1999 to 2009 before taking a job as the Superintendent of Recreation and Parks in Marblehead, MA.

Brendan is a current Executive Board member and Past President of the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association and is also a member of the National Recreation and Park Association. He lives in Beverly with his wife, Amy and two children Carter and Claire.

Kelly Lehman, AFO, CPSI

Parks & Recreation Assistant Director

Kelly has worked in the recreation field for over 20 years. She received a degree in 2006 from the University of New Hampshire in Recreation Management and Policy with a concentration in Program Administration. Prior to arriving in Burlington, Kelly served as Assistant Recreation Director for the Town of Raymond, NH.

Kelly is a professional member of the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association as well as the National Recreation and Park Association.

Emma Jones, CTRS
Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Emma received her Bachelors of Science in Recreation Management and Policy: Therapeutic Recreation option from the University of New Hampshire. She completed her internship at Burlington Parks and Recreation and then passed the National Board exam, obtaining her NCTRC certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). 

Emma is a professional member of the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association as well as the National Recreation and Park Association.

Jeff DiSalvo

Program Coordinator

Jeff graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2012 and has worked in the Recreation field ever since.  He began his career at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem NH before joining the City of Nashua, NH Parks & Recreation Department in 2017 where he served as the Program Coordinator and later, Program Manager. He joined the Burlington Parks & Recreation team as the Assistant Program Coordinator in 2023 and quickly advanced to Program Coordinator in January 2024.

Jeff is a professional member of the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association as well as the National Recreation and Park Association.
