You Can Save a Life!

NARCAN (Naloxone HCI) Nasal Spray is a life-saving medicine used to treat known or suspected opioid overdoses with signs of breathing problems and severe sleepiness or not being able to respond. NARCAN is available at all pharmacies (insurance coverage varies), and you can discuss options with the pharmacist. Recovery Coach & Program

Are you struggling with addiction or know someone who needs help? Burlington Police Department is hosting a Recovery Coach and Program Coordinator, who can make referrals to treatment for drug/alcohol use, connect you to support groups and provide other recovery resources.

  • Clammy, cool skin
  • No response to knuckles being rubbed or on breast bone
  • No response to yelling
  • The person will not wake up
  • Seizures of convulsions

  • Mixing drugs such as opioids, benzos, and alcohol
