Open Enrollment for Calendar Year 2024
OPEN ENROLLMENT IS MONDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2023 THROUGH WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2023
It’s Annual Enrollment Time! During open enrollment, eligible employees may enroll in or change insurance coverage for the following calendar year. The following benefits are available for you to enroll and/or change:
- Health Insurance - Blue Cross and Harvard Pilgrim
- Dental Insurance - Altus Dental
- Flexible Spending - Medical & Dependent Care
Use this checklist as your guide to make sure you have the benefits you need. If there is someone in your household who usually assists with benefits decisions, share this checklist with that person!
A few things you should know:
- All enrollments and changes must be received in the Benefits Office by November 15, 2023. Changes will be effective on January 1, 2024.
- Tip - if you have a family dental plan, make sure all children are enrolled
- There are no increases to Harvard Pilgrim HSA and dental insurance premiums
- There is a 4.5% increase to Harvard Pilgrim Best Buy, BCBS Network Blue and Blue Care Elect (PPO) health insurance premiums
- Plan choices will remain the same: Blue Care Elect PPO, Network Blue New England HMO, Harvard Pilgrim Best Buy HMO and Harvard Pilgrim HSA.
- Tip - if you are enrolling in the HSA plan, don't forget to include your HSA contribution
- Health insurance copays, deductibles, and HSA/HRA contributions are staying the same

Fitness Reimbursement (PDF)
Up to two covered members on a family plan can be reimbursed for up to $150 each, for a maximum reimbursement of $300 each year for gym membership or fitness classes (including virtual class subscriptions).

Blue Cross Mail Order Prescription Discount
This service offers savings of money and time. Pay only a 1-month copay and receive a 3-month supply of your maintenance medication with free delivery to your home.
Fitness Reimbursement
Members receive up to $150 reimbursement each year for gym membership or fitness classes.

How to enroll:
- Visit BurlingtonScripts to download an enrollment form or call 1-866-893-MEDS (6337).
- Ask your doctor for a 3-month supply of your maintenance medication, with 3 90-day refills.
- Send in your enrollment and prescription, along with a copy of your ID
- The initial setup of a new medication can take up to a month, so make sure you have enough of your medication on hand to get you through this first fill. Refills from there are quick!
