Births - persons whose parents lived in Burlington at the time of their birth
or whose birth occurred in Burlington;
Deaths- persons who died in Burlington or who died in Massachusetts
and listed Burlington as their place of residence;
Marriages - persons who filed their Intentions of Marriage in Burlington.

**NOTE** 1) Online Requests are: 2) Some records are restricted (impounded), i.e. parents were not married at the time of the birth or the father is not named on the record. Only those listed on restricted records are entitled to obtain a certified copy and identification is required. Please call the office at 781-270-1660 prior to ordering such records online. You will be asked to fax a copy of a valid photo ID along with your signature. 3) If we do not have the requested document in our records the processing fee will be reimbursed by the Town via a check. This will take up to 4 weeks. If you are not CERTAIN that we have the record you are requesting, call us at 781-270-1660 to confirm before you submit your request. |
