THE TOWN OF BURLINGTON SCHOLARSHIP FUND (TOBSF) HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS RESIDING IN THE TOWN OF BURLINGTON WELCOME TO APPLY
Burlington, MA - March 5, 2019 Burlington’s Board of Selectmen is pleased to announce the Town of Burlington Scholarship Fund (TOBSF) applications are being accepted from graduating 2019 high school seniors attending Burlington High School, private schools, and vocational schools. Every senior residing in the Town of Burlington is eligible to apply for the (two) $5,000 scholarships which will be awarded at the Burlington High School Scholarship Award Night on Thursday, May 30, 2019.
The qualified applicants must be attending a college, university, or a technical school accredited by their appropriate state Board of Education. The completed TOBSF application, an essay, and one letter of recommendation from either a high school counselor, instructor, a member of clergy, or a professional person and/or a supervisor, and high school transcript are required. An application can be obtained in the Burlington High School Guidance office, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The application deadline is Monday, April 1, 2019. Completed applications can be sent to the Burlington High School Guidance Department, located at 123 Cambridge Street, Burlington, MA 01803 or emailed to Mr. Joseph Attubato, BHS-Guidance Director: email@example.com.
The TOBSF Committee members are: Gina Leary, Chair, Rosalyn Minassian, Vice-Chair, William Boivin, Secretary, Joseph Attubato, BHS Guidance Director, Jennifer Kosses, Sheila Fitzpatrick and Ken Moffatt.
