COVID-19 Updates

In an effort to protect our staff and the residents of Burlington from the spread of COVID-19, the Town of Burlington has put the following actions in place:

Municipal buildings will be closed to the public as of tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, 2020.  The Burlington Parks & Recreation Department staff will be working and we ask that if you have a question to please call the office and we will be happy to assist you.  The office will not be open to the public.  We continue to receive guidance daily from the Board of Health and other regulatory agencies and will update you through social media as things evolve.  Thank you in advance for your understanding as we act in the best interest and safety of our residents and participants.

Program News:
In an effort to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to protect our residents and participants, we have made the decision to cancel the remaining sessions of our Winter 2020 programs, as of Friday, March 13, 2020.  A household credit will be given for the remaining sessions and can be used towards a future program or event.

We have also made the decision to suspend registration for our Spring 2020 programs until further notice.   We are working with Town Administration and the Board of Health and are receiving daily updates, with new information on the spread of COVID-19.  Once a decision has been made to return to typical activities we will notify you through our social media accounts. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we act in the best interest and safety of our residents and participants.
