The Recreation Department is a public agency under the jurisdiction of the Burlington Recreation Commission, a 5-member policy-making board elected by the townspeople. The Recreation Department offers recreational programs and events for people of all ages and maintains all of the Town's parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and school grounds.
