Notary Public Services

Notary Public Services are available at the Town Clerk's office during office hours, 8:30am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday. The office is located on the first floor of the Burlington Town Hall, 29 Center St. in Burlington.
The fee for Notary is $2, per signature.
For copy certification you must bring the originals
and we will make the copies at 20 cents per page.
In addition, there will be an administration fee charged for
transactions that take more than 15 minutes to process.
You must present valid photo identification at
the time the service is provided.

Commissioners to Qualify Public Officers

If you have been appointed as a Justice of the Peace or Notary Public and need to take your oath of office you may come into the office and do that in Burlington, rather than having to go into Boston. Please call one hour before you are coming to assure that 2 Commissioners are present. The handling fee is $5.
