Burlington Fire Fighters Respond to Reading Mutual Aid Call

At approximately 7:07 AM Tuesday January 17, 2006 Burlington Fire Department's Tower-1 Responded to a call for Mutual Aid for there second fire in as many days.  Tower-1 with manned by Lieutenant Jim Browne, Fire Fighters Ed Mclean and Mark Cedrone.  

While in route to cover Reading's Headquarters they were diverted directly to the fire scene at 18-20 Woburn St..  On arrival they set up operations at the rear of the fire building where they were supplied with water by Wakefield Engine 2.  They were tasked with attacking the fire that had gotten into the roof by pulling soffits and ridges etc. to expose the fire and then knocking the fire down with the tower's master stream.  They remained working for almost 6 hours extinguishing the fire
