How do I obtain a Utility Contractors License? -  Utility Contractors Licenses are issued by the Department of Public Works Engineering Division. You must submit a completed application, list of references, certificate of insurance, and a $10,000 street opening bond. Additionally, if you intend to install sewer services you must obtain a Drainlayers License from the Board of Health.
