Every Drop Counts
The Burlington Board of Selectmen is working hard to
ensure a lasting supply of clean, fresh, water. We are finding and
repairing leaks in our system and upgrading our aging pipes.
The challenges of the future are even more complex and
will require the support and cooperation of all households, businesses,
industries and institutions.
Together, we can save thousands of gallons of water
each day. Saving water will also help control your water and sewer bills.
Please do your part to conserve. YOU can make a difference .

We Each Use Over 22,000 Gallons of Water a Year.
Since water is available at a mere turn of the tap, we
tend to take its abundance for granted.
Conservation does work
The reservoir and water table rises and falls depending
on rainfall and the amount of water we use. We cannot control the weather,
but we can make conservation a daily habit.
If we all do our part – homeowners, renters,
students, businesses and industry – we can save millions of gallons a
year. We can ensure that there is plenty of water available for everyone
now and in the future. There are many ways you can help.
