Food For Fines

The Burlington Public Library will accept equivalent donations of non-perishable food items to the Burlington Food Pantry in lieu of overdue fines. Donations must be made at the library and can not be accepted as payment for lost or damaged items. 
 
The Burlington Food Pantry requests donations of the following items:

Healthy Snacks
              – such as boxes of raisins, nuts, trail mix, granola bars
Cans of soup
Ketchup/Mustard/Mayo/Relish
Boxes of tissues
Rolls of individually-wrapped toilet paper
Baked beans
Jam/jelly
Sugar-free jelly
Oatmeal
Cereal
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste

Please be sure your donated items do not expire for 6 months or more.

Please stop at the Circulation Desk with your library card and food donation to clear your fine.
