Raise your child to be a reader!

 You are your child’s most important teacher. The Burlington Public Library offers weekly storytime sessions to help your child develop reading, language and listening skills needed to succeed in school. Together, parents and librarians help children get ready to read!

 Please Note:  Caregivers are expected to stay with children during all storytime sessions.
No registration is required for storytime – just drop by!

Baby Storytime For caregivers with children ages birth-18 months. Delight and stimulate your baby’s senses with books, songs, toys and puppets! Build brain power! Fridays @ 11 am

 
Toddler Storytime For caregivers with children 18-36 months. Interact with your toddler to nurture a love of books. Be active with music and movement! Tuesdays and Wednesdays @ 10:30 am (No Storytime on April 16 & 17)

 Preschool Storytime For caregivers with children ages 3-6 years. Help your preschooler get ready to read. Enjoy stories together and build language skills! Tuesdays & Wednesdays @ 11 am (No Storytime on April 16 & 17)

 Pajama Storytime For caregivers with children ages 3-7. Bring your favorite stuffed animal & blanket, and snuggle in for some evening storytime fun! Tuesdays @ 7 pm  (No Pajama Storytime on Tues. Feb. 26)

After School Story & Craft For students in Grades K-3. Come enjoy longer stories and more complicated crafts. This is a special storytime for older children that does require sign-ups. Mondays April 22 & May 20 @ 3:45 pm
