Winter Storytime Sessions

Raise your child to be a reader!
You are your child’s most important teacher. The Burlington Public Library offers weekly storytime sessions to help your child develop reading, language and listening skills needed to succeed in school. Together, parents and librarians help children get ready to read!
Please Note: Caregivers are expected to stay with children during allstorytime sessions. No registration is required for storytime – just drop by!
No regularly scheduled storytimes on February 10, 16, 17 & April 13, 19, 20, 22, 26 & 29.
For caregivers with children ages birth-18 months. Delight and stimulate your baby’s senses with books, songs, toys and puppets! Build brain power! Fridays @ 11 am
For caregivers with children 18-36 months. Interact with your toddler to nurture a love of books. Be active with music and movement! Tuesdays and Wednesdays @ 10:30am
For caregivers with children ages 3-6 years. Help your preschooler get ready to read. Enjoy stories together and build language skills! Tuesdays & Wednesdays @ 11am
For caregivers with children ages 3-7. Bring your favorite stuffed animal & blanket, and snuggle in for some evening storytime fun! Tuesdays @ 7pm
A storytime specially designed for caregivers with children on the autism spectrum. Come share stories, rhymes, music, sensory fun, and movement in a flexible atmosphere that encourages participation on all levels. Thursdays: January 14, February 11, March 10, April 14 and May 12 @ 3pm
For caregivers with toddlers and preschoolers. This is a special ebook storytime using an iPad. Stories will be projected on the big screen along with songs, rhymes, and fun interactive apps. Mondays: February 22, April 4 & May 16 @ 11am
Chinese New Year Storytime
Best for 2-6 years, but all are invited. We will read Chinese New Year stories and do some crafts! Monday, February 8 @ 11am
