Fall Storytime Sessions

Raise your child to be a reader!
You are your child’s most important teacher. The Burlington Public Library offers weekly storytime sessions to help your child develop reading, language and listening skills needed to succeed in school. Together, parents and librarians help children get ready to read!
Please Note: Caregivers are expected to stay with children during all storytime sessions. No registration is required for storytime – just drop by!
No regularly scheduled storytimes on October 25 (our Fall Book Sale!), October 30 (Halloween Storytime instead), November 20 (iToddler instead), November 29 (library closed), & December 18 (Tea Party instead)
For caregivers with children ages birth-18 months. Delight and stimulate your baby’s senses with books, songs, toys and puppets! Build brain power! Fridays @ 11 am
For caregivers with children 18-36 months. Interact with your toddler to nurture a love of books. Be active with music and movement! Tuesdays and Wednesdays @ 10:30am
For caregivers with children ages 3-6 years. Help your preschooler get ready to read. Enjoy stories together and build language skills! Tuesdays & Wednesdays @ 11am
For caregivers with children ages 3-7. Bring your favorite stuffed animal & blanket, and snuggle in for some evening storytime fun! Tuesdays @ 7pm
(No PJ Storytime on November 5)
A new storytime specially designed for caregivers with children on the autism spectrum. Come share stories, rhymes, music, sensory fun, and movement in a flexible atmosphere that encourages participation on all levels. Upcoming Fridays, September 20, October 18, November 15, December 20 @ 1pm
For caregivers with children of all ages. Make the library your first stop before trick-or-treating! Come dressed in your best Halloween costume. We will read stories together, sing songs, and do other fun Halloween activities! Tuesday, October 29 @ 7pm & Wednesday, October 30 @ 11am
For caregivers with children of all ages. Come Christmas Eve to enjoy holiday stories, songs, and laughs! Tuesday, December 24 @ 10:30am
