In the month of March we are inviting people to take on a Burlington Reads in a different manner--rather than the library providing the book, we provide the theme and you choose what to read!
We will have plenty of programs, book talks and book discussions centered around the theme of Survival. Book Talks & "Take and Share" books will be available at select locations throughout the community.
PROGRAMS, BOOKMARKS & BOOKS:
Check out our Burlington Reads flyer for a full list of programs.
If you'd like a suggestion for what to read we'll have a variety of bookmarks for every reading level (available at both the library and "take and share" book locations) that provide a list compiled by librarians.
Copies of the selected books will be available at the library
"Take and Share" books will be available in the community at:
Buffalo Wild Wings (Adult titles)
Burlington Parks and Recreation Department (Youth and Adult titles)
True North Coffee Cafe (Adult titles)
What “Survival” book are YOU reading? Post a photo on the Library’s Facebook page at bit.ly/BurlingtonPLFacebook, share with us on Instagram with the tag #burlingtonsurvivalreads or email it to the library at firstname.lastname@example.org
