Friends' Book Sales
Friends of the Burlington Public Library hold two weekend-long book sales each year, generally in April and October /November. Thousands of "previously read" books, audio books, DVDs and music CDs are offered for purchase at a very modest price. Choose from general fiction, history, biography, travel, health, computing, home-improvement, hobbies, and more. There is always an extensive collection of books, puzzles, music, and DVDs for children as well.
Friends of the Library members receive special discounts at these sales.
Not a member of the Friends? Or did you let your membership lapse? You can pay your dues at the door. Join by mail or online by visiting the Membership page.
Do have books you would like to donate to the Friends?
If you have gently used books, DVDs or music CDs, please consider donating them to the Friends of the Burlington Public Library. The Friends have a book cart, located across from the circulation desk, where small quantities of items can be left at any time. Larger donations must be brought on donation days.
Scheduled Donation Days
None are scheduled, right now. Check back!
Donations will be taken at the rear of the library.
Can't wait for the next book sale?
Check out the "Friends Book Store" in a pair of specially-marked bookcases on the main floor of the library, close to the 'New Books' section. Books and films for all ages are available for purchase year-round.
