The Health Agent is responsible for the inspection of restaurants, retail food stores, school cafeterias, hospital food service, elderly feeding sites, corporate cafeterias, daycare food service, mobile food vendors, public & semi public swimming pools. Inspections are conducted twice a year on most establishments for compliance with state and local regulations. The Health Agent is called upon to investigate suspect foodborne illness complaints and general nuisances.
