REQUIRED TRAINING:

MRC-101
This course is an introduction to the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). The course is offered at least twice per year.  Please contact the BOH office for information on the next available training.

ICS-100 - ICS stands for Incident Command System, which is a principle used by Emergency Management Agencies during emergency response.  Volunteers will become familiar with the principles of chain of command.  This course is an on-line course and can be found by going to  https://emilms.fema.gov/IS100b/index.htm.  Following course completion, please send a copy of your certificate to the Board of Health at 61 Center Street, Burlington, MA or email it to boh@burlington.org.  ICS Training 1-3 


NIMS-700
 - NIMS stands for National Incident Management System (NIMS). Students will learn how government, private-sector, and nongovernmental organizations work together during domestic emergency incidents.  This course is an on-line course and can be found by going to https://emilms.fema.gov/IS700aNEW/index.htm.  Following course completion, please send a copy of your certificate to the Board of Health at 61 Center Street, Burlington, MA or email it to boh@burlington.org.
