The MRC Program

The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national network of volunteers, organized locally to improve the health and safety of their communities. There are 990 community-based units and almost 200,000 volunteers located throughout the United States and its territories.  The Burlington Volunteer Reserve Corps (MRC) is one of 45 units in Massachusetts and has approximately 160 volunteers.   New_1_First Aid 1 
 P1010260_fc-2 Our volunteers include medical and public health professionals, as well as other community members without healthcare backgrounds. Through their work, our volunteers strengthen public health, improve emergency response capabilities and build community resiliency.
