NY 9/11 Memorial & Museum

Date:  Sunday, May 6
Cost per Person:  $96

Planning began in the aftermath of that terrifying day and was completed just over 12 years later, as NY and the nation showed its defiance in the face of terrorism.  The September 11 Museum opened to the public on May 21, 2014, with over 23,000 images, 10,300 artifacts, nearly 2,000 oral histories about those killed, over 500 hours of video, first-responder vehicles, pieces of steel, part of the original foundation of the Towers, and more.  From the symbolic architecture to the tranquil memorial pools, the nation and the world are invited to re-experience 9/11 in a most meaningful way.  Take your time as you wander the museum.  Lunch and snacks are on your own in the cafe.

Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard

Date:  Saturday, July 8
Cost per Person:  $143

Join us for this fantastic tour of these two islands!  Nantucket, a tiny, isolated island off Cape Cod, features dune-backed beaches and has been designated by The Nature Conservancy as one of the last "Great Places on Earth."  It is marked by its unpainted cedar-shingled buildings, manicured privets, wharves and cobblestone streets lined with restaurants, steeple-topped churches and chic boutiques.  Martha's Vineyard sits in the Atlantic just south of Cape Cod.  This longtime New England summer colony, a favorite of celebrities, encompasses harbor towns, farmland, lighthouses, and sandy beaches.  You'll find fabulous shopping, quaint Victorian cottages, an iconic carousel and expansive beaches...and yes, more places for dining from casual to gourmet!
