The 1st Annual Natural Burlington Photography Exhibit & Awards Night on November 6th at Grand View Farm was a huge success. Thank you to all the entrants, Rebecca's Cafe in the District for supplying food, judges Joanna Nandi and Rachel Alchorn, jazz pianist Dan Pappas, Grand View Farm for allowing us to use the space for free and finally a huge thank you to Jennifer O'Riorden, Conservation Commissioner, who organized the entire competition and event.

The Conservation Commission, a seven-member volunteer board, was founded in 1966 "for the promotion and development of natural resources and for the protection of  watershed resources." Today, the Conservation Commission administers the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the Burlington Bylaws for wetland protection and stormwater management. Additionally, the Conservation Commission manages nearly three hundred acres of  Conservation land.
