John Aiken -   London, England.   Born in Belfast in 1950, Mr. Aiken attended the Chelsea School of Art.   He is now a professor of art at the Slade School of Art in London.   view the art.
Dan Ardito -   Burlington, MA.   Mr. Ardito is a textile chemist and a colorist and is retired from the U.S. Army Laboratories.   He is a member of the Senior Art Class in Burlington.   view the art.
Judy Brown -   Burlington, MA.   Coming from a family of artists, Ms. Brown studied Art at the New England School of Art.   She originally specialized in dress design and ran her own shop.   She has studied Art throughout her life and has taught Art for many years.   view the art.   view the art.
Anna Brundige -   Burlington, MA.   Ms. Brundige has lived in Burlington for 52 years, working for the School Department for 30 years. She did not take art lessons until six years ago when art teacher G. Wenn Burgets invited her to the class for seniors.   She enjoyed this class and the fellow students.   view the art.   view the art.
Rob P. Campagna -   Canton, MA.   Mr. Campagna has been woodcarving for 20 years, using only hand tools.   His primary focus is on sign and cane carving.   view the art.   view the art.
Stephanie Carrigg -   Salem, MA. A long time Burlington resident, Ms. Carrigg creates her own jewelry at her studio in Salem.   Her works have been shown in New York, Boston, and Baltimore and may be purchased in many local shops.   view the art.
Donna Chadwick -   Burlington, MA.   Ms. Chadwick has had a lifelong interest in art.   She studied at the Museum School in Boston as well as privately with many nationally known New England artists.   Donna has been working on a series of watercolors of New England lighthouses.   view the art.   view the art.
Paul E. Ciampa -   Woburn, MA.   Mr. Ciampa holds a certificate in Fine Art from the Art Institute of Boston and a BFA from The Massachusetts College of Art.   Paul has over 22 years design and illustration experience with high technology corporations and advertising design studios.   His art prints are digital images that have been reworked with a software program to produce a watercolor effect.   The final images are printed with a seven-color Epson ink jet printer on archival paper.   view the art.   view the art.
June Collins -   N. Chelmsford, MA.   A former resident of Burlington, Ms. Collins attended the Art Institute in Boston.   She worked for the Town of Burlington for 32 years and taught photography for the Recreation Deptartment and Adult Education.   June's works have been shown at the Carey Memorial Library in Lexington, the Brush Gallery in Lowell, the Burlington Public Library, Arthur Griffin Gallery in Winchester and the Dante Alighieri Society in Cambridge.   view the art.
Michael Costello -   Boston, MA.   After graduating from Burlington High School, Mr. Costello graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and attended the Mass College of Art.   He has had seventeen solo exhibitions and 32 group exhibitions in the greater Boston area. Michael has appeared in seven publications.   view the art.
Paula Doherty -   Burlington, MA.   A Burlington resident, Ms. Doherty has painted since she was eight years old. She studied formally under Mary Daniels of Reading, MA for eight years and also studied art in high school and college.   She is a former member of the Reading Art Association.   Paula works in several medium but prefers watercolor.   Her donated painting was done in 1997 in NH for her mother.   For Paula art remains a passion and therapy.   view the art.
Bill Duffy -   Baltimore, MD.   Mr. Duffy is a graduate of Burlington High School.   Because of his early training under the tutelage of his teacher, Elinor Marvin, he was accelerated into a scholarship program at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.   Bill is widely recognized for his intricately designed sculpture compositions that appear in a variety of public and private collections.   He has a studio in Baltimore, MD.   view the art.
Ian Factor -   Portland, ME.   Mr. Factor graduated from Burlington High School and Syracuse University.   He has received Certificates of Accomplishments from Mass. College of Art, Museum of Fine Arts School, Boston, and DeCordova Museum School, Lincoln, MA.   He taught Art at Montserrat College of Art and has numerous corporate clients such as Burton Snowboards, Timberland Outdoor Gear, Converse Footwear, Fleet Bank, IBM and others.   Ian's work is being shown at galleries in Boca Raton, Los Angeles, Portland ME and Florence, Italy.   view the art.   view the art.
Leonard and Mary Faria -   Center Barnstead, NH.   Leonard and Mary are builders of houses, barns, boats and custom furniture.   view the art.
Catherine Frawley -   Burlington, MA.   Ms. Frawley was a certified ceramics teacher who took up painting ten years ago.   She has taken private lessons from many local artists and is a member of the "Painters Guild" of the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society.   view the art.   view the art.   view the art.
Justin Gordon -   Groveland, MA.   Mr. Gordon is a former Burlington resident and graduate of Burlington High School.   He graduated from UMass with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.   Justin is nationally known for his wood carving as well as his sand and ice sculptures.   Locally he is known as the artist who created the large sand sculpture at the Francis Wyman Elementary School.   view the art.

Don Gorvett -   Ogunquit, ME.   Mr. Gorvett is a graduate of Burlington High School and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.   His works can be found in the Portland Museum of Art, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, the Cape Ann Historical Society, the Duxbury Art Complex, as well as in numerous corporate and private collections.   He is a board member of the Boston Printmakers, Ogunquit Art Association.   Don is the painter of the mural in the Burlington Historical Museum.   view the art.
T. Jane Graham-Dwyer -   Burlington, MA.   Ms. Graham-Dwyer is a former art teacher and is currently the principal of the Pine Glen School in Burlington.   view the art.
Florence Gravina -   Peabody, MA.   Ms. Gravina lived in Burlington for 46 years prior to her recent move to Peabody.   She enjoyed being involved with Burlington Senior Citizens and has graciously donated three of her art pieces to use in the auction.   view the art.   view the art.   view the art.
Alexander Harding -   Cambridge, MA.   Mr. Harding graduated from Burlington High School and Mass. College of Art with a BFA in painting with distinction in 2002.   He continued his studies in photography.   Alex has had showings at Mass. College of Art, Harvard University Art Museum, and Johnson Gallery on Newbury Street in Boston.   He is currently employed at the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.   view the art.
Carol Hillson -   New York, NY.   Ms. Hillson is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and has been a lifelong artist.   She has exhibited in galleries in New York, California and France.   Her works are part of many private collections.   view the art.
Judith Jango-Cohen -   Burlington, MA.   Ms. Jango-Cohen is a teacher, author of children's books and a photographer.   Her photographs have appeared in coffee table books, reference books and magazines like Newsweek and National Parks.   view the art.
Emily L. Johnson -   Nashua, NH.   A graduate of the Hertzfield School of Art in Wiesbaden, West Germany, Ms. Johnson also studied art at Vesper George School of Art in Boston and with Evoyne Prince of England.   Many of her paintings are in private collections in Europe and throughout the US.   view the art.

Rick Karwan -   Burlington, MA.   Since 1977 Mr. Karwan has been doing public relations, commercial and newspaper photography in the region north of Boston.   While Rick has made his reputation as a skilled photographer, he is very involved with charitable work.   Currently he is President of the Burlington Rotary Club.   view the art.

Colleen Killion -   Burlington, MA.   Ms. Killion is a full time physical therapist at Lahey Clinic and a part time artist.   She discovered her love for portrait and figure drawing while studying art at Burlington High School.   view the art.
Stan Lacey -   Burlington, MA.   Mr. Lacey paints for pleasure in his home studio.   He is self taught and works primarily in water color.   Stan has exhibited at the Burlington Library.   view the art.
Stephen Lanzalotta -   Portland, ME.   Mr. Lanzalotta is a master woodworker as well as a painter.   His works are in numerous galleries throughout Maine.   He is also a noted baker, chef, and dietician and is the co-owner of the Du'e Gallery in Portland, ME.   view the art.
Barbara Limoncelli -   Winchester, MA.   Originally from New York, Ms. Limoncelli began her art studies at the Art Student's League in New York.   She has been an active member of the DeCordova Museum School, the Arlington Center for the Arts, the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society, and the Bedford Arts and Crafts Society.   view the art.
Wayne Little -   Billerica,MA   Mr. Little is a graduate of Burlington high School, the University of Maine, and Boston State College.   Now in his 35th year as an art teacher at Burlington High, he has been a photography teacher for 25 years and is currently the Chairman of the Art Department.   Wayne owns his own photography business and specializes in civil evidence and forensic photography.   view the art.
C. D. Luther -   Waltham, MA   C. D. Luther was a Burlington School teacher for over 30 years.   He is currently teaching at Middlesex Community College.   He holds a graphic design degree from Northeastern University and a C.A.G.S. in Media from Boston State College.   view the art.
Douglas Luther -   Waltham, MA   Mr. Luther is a teacher at Burlington High School.   He has been a working photographer most of his life and is currently experimenting with historic landscapes in the greater Boston area.   view the art.
Elinor Marvin -   Ogunquit, ME.   A former art teacher at the Burlington High School, Ms. Marvin holds a degree from the Museum Art School in Portland, Oregon.   She has furthered her studies at the Boston Museum School and the DeCordova Museum.   Elinor has exhibited extensively throughout New England.   Her works include silks screens, ceramics, and sculpture.     view the art.
Matthew McDonough -   Burlington, MA.   Mr. McDonough is a graduate of Burlington High School and of the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University where he majored in Fine Arts.   He also studied at the DeMedici University in Florence, Italy.   Matthew has had two shows on Newbury Street in Boston and is currently specializing in portrait work.   view the art.

Jennifer Norton -   Brooklyn, NY.   Ms. Norton is a former Burlington resident and graduate of Burlington High School.   Phil Young and Lorraine Sullivan were her teachers.   Jen graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and is presently a designer in New York City.   view the art.
Edwin Oley -   Burlington, MA.   Mr. Oley graduated from the Vesper George School of Art.   He also studied at the Art Institute of Boston and Montserrat College of Art.   His art career includes working as an illustrator for technical manuals and developing corporate designs.   He has won numerous art awards and his works have been displayed in many local art guilds, libraries and local collections.   view the art.
Elizabeth Patterson -   Hollis, ME.   Ms. Patterson graduated from Burlington High School and attended the Mass. College of Art and the University of Southern Maine.   She has worked as an illustrator and graphic designer but is primarily a portrait artist who works in pencil and colored pencil.   view the art.
Laura J. Phillips -   Bridgewater, MA.   Ms. Phillips has a B.A. from Monmouth University and a Master's of Art in teaching from Bridgewater State.   She has been a Middle School Art teacher in Burlington for 20 years.   Laura is also a freelance photographer who owns her own business.   view the art.
Elise Richards -   Burlington, MA.   Ms. Richards is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of New York where she majored in textile design and printing.   Currently she is a local art teacher.   She also creates works that use local towns as a backdrop to combine her teaching of drawing with her love of nature.   view the art.
Maria Rosberg -   Burlington, MA.   Ms. Rosberg is married with four children.   Her hobbies include arts and crafts but her first love is painting abstracts.   Maria considers the abstracts fun pieces of art because you can be very creative - there is no rhyme or reason, you just do what you feel.   view the art.
Gloria Ryan -   Burlington, MA.   Ms. Ryan studied Art at the Vesper George School of Art.   She is a past President of the Burlington Art Association and is currently VP of the Bedford Art Association.   view the art.
Vincent Sferrino -   Burlington, MA.   Mr. Sferrino was a lifelong engineer at MIT who took up art as a hobby upon retirement.   He is a student at the Burlington Senior Citizens Art classes.   view the art.
George Shedd -   Mr. Shedd has won numerous awards including the Gold Medal and three others from the Allied Artists of America, three from the Salmagundi Club, seven from the New England Water Color Society and one from the American Watercolor Society.   George is also a member of the Guild of Boston Artists.   view the art.
Robert Shure -   Woburn, MA.   Mr. Shure is president of Skylight Studios of Woburn which does sculpture, reproductions, molds, castings, ornament and architectural restoration.   Robert is also associated with the Giust Gallery of Woburn which produces exclusive replicas of classical sculpture from major European museums.   view the art.

Lorraine Sullivan -   Arlington, MA.   Ms. Sullivan has a BFA degree from the Massachusetts College of Art.   A long time art teacher at Burlington High School, she is also a freelance graphic designer and practicing artist.   Lorraine was chosen Outstanding Art Educator in 1989 by the Mass Alliance for ARTS Education and again in 2000 by the Mass Art Ed Association.   In 2002 she received the Distinguished Educator Award from the Mass College of Art.   view the art.
Bob Swift -   Burlington, MA.   Mr. Swift is a graduate of Burlington High School who studied with Phil Young and Elinor Marvin.   He created the logos for the Burlington Bicentennial and for the Marion Tavern at Grand View Farm Committee.   Bob hosted a show on Burlington's local cable station, BCAT, teaching art.   He now creates a comic strip and political cartoons in Boston for the Beacon Hill Times.   view the art.

Jeff Weaver -   Ogunquit, ME.   Mr. Weaver graduated from Burlington High School and is a professional artist in Gloucester, MA.   He painted the mural of historic Burlington at the Burlington Historical Museum in the 1970's with Don Gorvet.   Jeff is a member of the North Shore Art Association, where he recently participated in the "Lobster Landings," a public art exhibit of 33 lobster sculptures.   view the art.
Phil Young -   Arlington, MA.   Mr. Young has a B.S. in Art Education from SUNY Buffalo and an M.S. in Painting from the University of Wisconsin.   He is a retired art teacher from Burlington High School and was Chairman of the Art Dept. from 1984-2002.   In 2002 he received the Distinguished Educator Award from the Mass College of Art.   Phil is on the Board of Directors of the Arlington Center for the Arts and on the Board of the Boston Globe Art Awards.   view the art.
