Tax Assistance
Tax Assistance, sponsored by AARP, is available free in February, March and thru the 2nd week of April on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 1pm. Each appointment is one-half hour.

Important Information about your
Stimulus/Rebate Check
Received Your stimulus check yet? Did you know that
if you don't spend it within 3 months it will count as an
asset. Thus you may have to pay taxes on it if you
decide you want to save it for a rainy day.
In addition it won't count as income if you receive Mass-
Health and are under 65,
WIC, food stamps or fuel assistance.
If you haven't filed for you rebate check you have until
October 15th to do so.
