Republic Services will suspend Bulk Waste, Yard Waste and Overflow Bags Collection due to COVID-19. Regular Trash Collection and Recycling Collection using toters to remain unchanged Simple Recycling collections are also suspended until further notice. All residents will need to use their regular trash toter and recycling toters only since all other items outside the toter will not be collected.

Sagarino, Jr. and the Burlington Board of Selectmen: On Monday, March 23, 2020, Governor Baker issued a "stay home" directive advising that all non-essential functions and operations be performed remotely to the extent possible. After consulting with the Burlington Board of Health, non-essential employees (not including Police, Fire, and certain Public Works) in the Town of Burlington are being directed to work remotely beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020 until April 7, 2020, or until otherwise directed by the Town Administrator. Recent update 3-20-2020 Municipal Buildings- All municipal buildings remain closed to the public until further notice. In an effort to promote further social distancing and maintain essential functions, beginning on March 23rd Town departments will be staffed on a “skeleton crew” basis Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM.
